Today we had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful walled garden of Manor Garden and picked our very own bunches of home grown British flowers. Situated on the banks of the River Tees, a set of sturdy wooden doors hides the most beautiful garden boasting rows and rows of amazing smelling blooms just waiting to be picked, a sensory garden and the cutest retro caravan.
Armed with a pair of snips we wandered the rows of carefully tended to blooms and made our very own little posies. We also made a pit stop for a good old cuppa, juice for Nora Noo and the most amazing coconut blondies (like brownies, but blonde!). The perfect summer holiday activity for kids and grown ups alike.
If you fancy a visit to the beautiful Manor Garden Flowers, there are two more P.Y.O days on Sunday 21st August and Sunday 28th August. You can follow Manor Garden on Instagram and on Facebook, too. We can’t wait to visit again!
I’ll (hopefully!) be using #6weeksofsummer to show you a heap of our summer holiday adventures in an attempt to keep Nora entertained, teach her a few things and make a whole load of memories along the way!
