“Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree’ – Emily Bronte
I have a huge affinity for summer but there really is something about autumn that ignites my love for the great outdoors. The rustling leaves under foot, the beautiful golden light, the chunky knits, the warm drinks to soothe chilly hands and of course, the pumpkins.
Ever since Nora was tiny, we have made a point of searching out the best spots for pumpkin picking and as the years have passed, we have visited some beautiful spots. Imagine my delight when this year I fulfilled all my pumpkin spiced dreams and discovered the amazing Pontac Pumpkin farm. The lovely guys there grow their very own pumpkins right here in the North East and we were lucky enough to head over on the most beautiful golden autumn evening for our annual pumpkin shoot.
If you’re Teesside based, you absolutely must visit Pontac Pumpkins. They’re open to the public this coming weekend, check out their Facebook for the details!
